We are looking for a knowledgeable Plant Fitter/Engineer who is experienced working on excavators, dumpers, telehandlers and small tools. This role will be both workshop and field based and will involve carrying out repairs on machinery, diagnosing faults on heavy plant such as JCB, Komatsu, Takeuchi, Yanmar, Terex, Thwaites, Case, Hitachi and Volvo amongst others. The right candidate will be skilled in the service, maintenance and repair of electrical and hydraulic machinery and will be required to carry out on-site repair and replacement of hydraulic hoses/systems as well as general service and maintenance work on all kinds of plant. The ability to work as a member of a team and to be able to act on your own initiative is vital. A flexible approach to our varied workload is necessary. Electrical and hydraulic fault finding expertise is essential, together with a minimum two years’ experience in construction plant and a full UK driver’s license.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
